Trinity Furniture Logistics is currently looking for an experienced heavy duty truck and trailer mechanic. Tired of working in a dungeon we are located is a brand new facility that is extremely well lit and clean. This position requires attention to detail, forward thinking, a Strong Work Ethic, and a positive attitude. We are looking for an experienced self-motivated technician or mechanic who can diagnose power equipment issues and determine effective and efficient repair solutions. We are a local maintenance provider for heavy truck and trailer fleets. Maintaining our own fleet as well as outside customer fleets, we are a family-owned business, dedicated to excellence. Pay and Salary
  • Pay is determined by skills and experience. Diesel Mechanic Requirements
  • Proven previous experience as a technician or mechanic in heavy equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, & repair diesel engines, hydraulics, & electrical schematics etc.
  • Must have your own tools within reason
  • Clean driving record & valid driver's license.
NOT REQUIRED BUT IS APPRECIATED
  • Trade school.
  • Mechanical Certificates
  • Ability to Weld
Fab Work Responsibilities:
  • Maintains company owned/leased Equipment.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot, repair, & recommend future services on units.
  • Must be able to correct Vehicle Deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, component parts, and or systems.
  • Keep track of maintenance history on company Equipment
  • Efficiently and professionally work with customers while correcting vehicle deficiencies and keeping record of maintenance work.
  • Must be able to conduct thorough routine inspections as well as DOT & Inspections on units.
  • Verifying vehicle performance by conducting test drives, adjusting control systems.
  • Perform all phases of preventative maintenance and create timelines as needed for equipment in partnership with maintenance team.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and more. Work Environment and Physical Demands The work environment characteristics & physical demands here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • Must be able to lift heavy materials and equipment.
  • Must be able to climb over and under object frequently.
  • Must be able to work from a kneeling, sitting, and standing position.
  • Must be able to walk and stand on concrete for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Must be able to walk 1-2 Miles per day.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$30.00 - $60.00 per hour
