Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Trucks Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, where your expertise will drive the maintenance and repair of large commercial vehicles. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your mechanical skills and electrical knowledge will be vital in keeping our fleet running smoothly, supporting our commitment to reliable transportation solutions. CDL is a plus but not a requirement. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on heavy-duty diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems using automotive diagnostics tools. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, air brake inspections, and suspension checks to keep vehicles operating at peak efficiency. Repair and replace mechanical components including shocks & struts, brakes, HVAC systems, and RV electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to execute repairs with precision. Troubleshoot basic vehicle issues and perform complex repairs involving electrical repair, automotive electrical systems, and plumbing system maintenance for RVs. Conduct alignment and suspension adjustments to ensure vehicle safety and performance standards are met. Assist with assembly, equipment repair, and heavy lifting tasks as needed to support overall fleet maintenance operations. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with heavy-duty diesel trucks or similar vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience, including RV electrical system diagnostics and automotive electrical systems. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, brake repair, transmission work, shocks & struts replacement, and HVAC systems. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and basic vehicle troubleshooting methods. Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, alignment adjustments, suspension repairs, and plumbing system repairs for RVs. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality assurance. Knowledge of plumbing systems (including RV plumbing), auto body repair, equipment repair, and general mechanical repairs is a plus.
