Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team, providing expert maintenance and repair services for a variety of heavy-duty vehicles and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with diesel engine systems, and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery. This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse equipment, including farm machinery, heavy trucks, and industrial systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety across operations. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems After treatment Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, shocks & struts, and suspension work Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding and hand tools Operate heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers for repair or movement purposes Repair and maintain vehicle systems for trucks used by drivers or fleet vehicles procedures and air brake system repairs to ensure safety compliance Perform equipment assembly, welding, and fabrication tasks for custom or replacement parts Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work adheres to safety standards and manufacturer specifications Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician with dealership or industrial background preferred Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and mechanical systems repair Experience working with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, and industrial equipment Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems Skilled in the use of power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, hydraulics, HVAC systems related to diesel engines is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license with experience operating various types of heavy machinery preferred Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship This position is integral to maintaining the operational efficiency of our fleet and equipment.
