Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on a variety of industrial equipment. This role requires a keen understanding of schematics, hydraulics, and automotive repair, as well as hands-on experience with heavy duty truck and air brake systems. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively. Conduct routine maintenance checks on industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance. Repair hydraulic systems and components, ensuring they meet safety standards. Collaborate with team members, as well as work independently, to complete repairs in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on vehicles. Solder electrical connections as needed for various vehicle systems. Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or in a similar role within the automotive repair industry. Strong knowledge of diesel engine components. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to diesel engines and industrial equipment. Familiarity with hydraulic systems and their maintenance requirements. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy parts and standing for extended periods. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
