Job Description

SHOP MECHANIC / DIESEL TECHNICIAN

Horn Lake, MS / Full-Time We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Shop Mechanic / Diesel Technician to maintain and repair our fleet and keep our equipment safe, reliable, and ready for operation. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of diesel/heavy-duty repair experience, strong mechanical skills, and a safety-first attitude.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks, forklifts, and fleet equipment Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting Repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and related systems Pick up parts and transport tools/equipment as needed Assist with welding and fabrication Test-drive equipment to verify repairs Maintain accurate repair/service records Keep the shop, tools, and work areas clean, organized, and safe Help improve maintenance processes and shop efficiency

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 3-5

years of hands-on diesel/heavy-duty mechanic experience High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license; CDL-A preferred Own mechanic's tools Experience with heavy-duty trucks and diesel equipment Forklift experience preferred Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Welding/fabrication experience is a plus Ability to lift 50+ lbs Dependable team player with a strong safety-first mindset Willingness to work overtime/weekends as needed Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled shop
