Capital Ford of Charlotte is looking for an experienced Ford Diesel Technician to join our busy service department. We're looking for a technician who knows their way around Power Stroke diesel engines, Super Duty trucks, diagnostics, and complex repairs — and takes pride in getting the job done right the first time. What You'll Be Doing Diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford trucks and diesel-powered vehicles Perform advanced diesel, mechanical, electrical, drivability, and diagnostic repairs Diagnose and repair Power Stroke diesel engines and Ford Super Duty vehicles Utilize OEM diagnostic equipment and follow Ford repair procedures Perform engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and other complex repairs as needed Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and fellow technicians Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment Continue developing your skills through Ford factory training and certifications What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Diesel Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Truck Technician, or Automotive Technician Ford dealership and/or Ford truck experience strongly preferred Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered vehicles Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills ASE, Ford, OEM, or equivalent certifications preferred Experience with OEM diagnostic equipment Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to successfully complete pre-employment background screenings A commitment to quality, productivity, and teamwork Why This Shop?
