Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic Pay:

Barnesville, Ohio We're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic! Resource Transport is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of Kenworth and Mack tractors along with Timpte trailers . If you're a skilled Diesel Mechanic , Fleet Mechanic , Truck Mechanic , or Heavy Equipment Mechanic , we'd like to talk with you. What You'll Work On As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain: Diesel engines Kenworth and Mack tractors Timpte trailers PACCAR engines Cummins engines Braking systems Suspension Electrical systems Hydraulic systems Air systems Preventative maintenance DOT inspections Diagnostic troubleshooting Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy-duty trucks and trailers Repair diesel engines, brakes, suspensions, transmissions, steering, and electrical components Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services Complete inspections to keep equipment DOT compliant Troubleshoot engine and electrical faults using diagnostic software and tools Perform repairs efficiently to minimize equipment downtime Maintain accurate repair documentation using Fleetio Keep a clean and safe work area Work with the maintenance team to keep the fleet operating safely and efficiently Diesel Mechanic Qualifications Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, or Heavy Equipment Mechanic Experience repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers Knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, and preventative maintenance Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems Experience using diagnostic software and scan tools Ability to read repair manuals and wiring schematics Technical school or diesel certification is a plus CDL is preferred but not required Why Join Resource Transport?
