Our home office is in Walbridge, OH where we have a full-service terminal. Nagle owns a fleet of 70 trucks and 200 trailers. We own both reefer trailers and dry van trailers, in addition to box trucks. We are currently hiring for experienced diesel mechanics with good attention to detail. Diesel mechanics have in-depth knowledge of the intricacies of diesel engines. They use this knowledge to identify problems in diesel vehicles and solve them. A diesel mechanic will complete a variety of tasks during an average day, doing everything from basic maintenance tasks to using a computer and adjusting engine functions. If that sounds like something you're interested in, we look forward to speaking with you soon. Job Responsibilities Run diagnostic tests using specialized computer software and hand tools. Inspect and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems. Perform routine preventive maintenance like oil and filter changes. Test drive or operate vehicles and equipment to verify repairs. Maintain clean work areas and accurate repair logs. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent. Completion of a postsecondary diesel technology program preferred. Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools Valid driver's license (Commercial Driver's License/CDL is a plus). ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications in medium/heavy truck repair list are a plus and could potentially count toward additional compensation. Physical stamina to lift heavy parts and work in awkward positions Good interpersonal skills Excellent verbal communication & organizational skills Attention to detail Salary Range from $20/hour-$35/hour, depending on experience. PTO After 90 days of service: 56 Hours based on average hours worked 3 Years of service: Up to 96 Hours based on average hours worked 5 years of service: Up to 136 Hours based on average hours worked Benefits Medical, dental and vision benefits are effective after 90 days of employment. Schedule Open availability is imperative. Shift will be M-F with possibilities of 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm. On-call overtime may happen every 6 weeks, with compensation included.

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
