Full-Time Join a Shop That Demands Excellence Ossco Group is looking for an experienced, motivated Diesel / Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Warminster, PA . We aren't looking for someone who simply wants to punch a clock and turn wrenches. Ossco Group services a wide range of commercial trucks, diesel vehicles, fleet vehicles, trailers, and equipment . That means our technicians aren't stuck doing the same repair every day. One day may involve brakes and suspension, the next electrical diagnostics, engine work, or tracking down a problem nobody else could figure out. What You'll Be Doing As a Diesel / Automotive Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles and equipment while maintaining Ossco Group's standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled fleet services Repair and service braking, steering, and suspension systems Perform engine and drivetrain repairs Diagnose warning lights, electrical issues, and performance concerns Complete cooling system and HVAC repairs Perform DOT and safety-related repairs Inspect vehicles and identify additional maintenance or repair needs Accurately document inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and recommendations Use digital inspection and repair-order software Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area Communicate with Service Advisors, Parts, and Shop Management throughout the repair process Perform quality work and verify repairs before returning vehicles to service Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who brings more than a toolbox.
The right candidate is:
Experienced in automotive, diesel, truck, fleet, or equipment repair Strong in mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting Comfortable using scan tools and diagnostic equipment Able to read wiring diagrams and service information Self-motivated and able to work independently Organized and capable of managing multiple jobs Focused on quality instead of shortcuts Willing to learn new systems, equipment, and repair procedures Dependable and accountable A team player who communicates well with others Automotive technicians interested in transitioning into diesel and commercial truck repair are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications Previous diesel, automotive, fleet, or heavy-duty repair experience PA State Inspection License ASE certifications Commercial truck or fleet experience Electrical diagnostic experience Diesel engine experience Experience with medium-duty or heavy-duty trucks Valid driver's license Don't check every box?
