Your responsibilities will include:

Diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and diesel equipment. Troubleshoot and repair steering, electrical, cooling, lubrication, braking, drivetrain, suspension, power steering, clutch, transmission, fuel, and engine systems. Perform engine testing, adjustments, component replacements, and rebuilds as needed. Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential problems before they become major repairs. Test-drive vehicles and equipment to confirm repairs are completed properly. Document repairs, parts used, and labor performed. Identify and communicate additional repair needs discovered during inspections and routine service. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Ensure repairs comply with applicable Federal, State, and local requirements. Respond to occasional road calls and perform on-site repairs when necessary. Qualifications:

5+ years of experience repairing medium- and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Strong diesel diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Solid knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, suspensions, drivetrains, and trailer components. Experience with both diesel and gasoline-powered equipment. Must have a full set of standard mechanic's tools. Valid driver's license required. CDL preferred, but not required.
