Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Diesel Technician specializing in Truck and Trailer Repair to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of heavy-duty diesel engines, truck systems, and trailers to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep our fleet running smoothly, minimize downtime, and support our commitment to reliable transportation services. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced mechanics passionate about heavy equipment, automotive diagnostics, and industrial repair to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems across trucks and trailers. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and air brake inspections to uphold safety standards. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic issues efficiently. Fabricate parts or modify equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding, soldering, and fabrication techniques as needed. Repair or replace shocks & struts, HVAC components, steering systems, and other heavy equipment parts to ensure vehicle reliability. Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repairs and maintenance status. Requirements Proven experience working as a Diesel Technician or Heavy Equipment Mechanic Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment Skilled in use of hand tools and power tools for repairs or modifications. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to clients or team members. Valid certifications in automotive repair or diesel engine repair are preferred; dealership experience is a plus. Join us in delivering top-tier service through expert vehicle maintenance!
