Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including trucks, construction machinery, and industrial vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting our operations and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brake systems, and electrical components using schematics and diagnostic tools. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to repair or modify equipment as needed. Inspect and service vehicle systems including suspension, shocks & struts, alignment, brakes, HVAC systems, and tire service to uphold safety standards. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and service reports to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs needed and maintenance schedules. Experience Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or Heavy Equipment Mechanic within a dealership or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance procedures, and mechanical systems repair. Hands-on experience working with heavy trucks or other industrial machinery. Familiarity with schematics for electrical systems and hydraulic diagrams is highly desirable. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques. Previous experience with vehicle systems such as transmissions, air brakes, suspension components, HVAC systems, and tire service is preferred. Pay:
$30.62 - $36.88 per hour
