Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and vehicle maintenance, with the ability to work on various types of heavy equipment. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. Must Have Own tools, Paccar Engine Software with computer or knowledge how to acquire Paccar Software. Must have integrity, driven and self starter. Duties Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations. Work on air brake systems and HVAC components to ensure proper functionality. Repair and maintain farm machinery as well as other heavy equipment. Operate heavy equipment safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly. Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or diesel mechanic is preferred. Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques and vehicle maintenance practices. Familiarity with air brake systems and HVAC systems is a plus. Experience working with farm machinery and heavy equipment operation is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
