Job Description

Diesel Mechanic (Night Shift 4pm-4am) - Midlothian, Texas Waste Connections | $22-$30/hr| Full-Time

We're hiring experienced techs to perform maintenance and repairs on garbage trucks—covering everything from hydraulics and electrical to engine systems. This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who takes pride in their work and values safety. 💰

What We Offer:

$22.00-$30.00/hour based on experience
$150/month tool allowance + annual boot stipend
Full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K match, Life Insurance)
Consistent hours: 50-60 hrs/week, Mon-Fri + some Saturdays

What You'll Do:

Perform preventative maintenance & inspections
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues
Handle on-road breakdowns and emergency calls
Keep shop clean, organized, and safe
Accurately document all work performed ✅

Requirements:

3+ years of diesel or heavy truck experience
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
ASE cert and CDL (A or B) a strong plus
Reliable, hard-working, and safety-minded
