Full Job Description Van Build Systems Technician Location:
Golden, Colorado Employment:
Full-time Reports to: Operations Manager The role TOURIG is seeking a technically capable Systems Technician with strong 12-volt DC electrical expertise and working knowledge of plumbing and heating systems. You will install, diagnose, and repair the systems that allow adventure vehicles to operate reliably off-grid. You will work alongside skilled, supportive colleagues in a team-oriented business that takes pride in building and maintaining the best brand in the industry. Experience with Victron, lithium batteries, Rixen, Espar, Webasto, or solar systems is beneficial. Responsibilities Install batteries, inverters, chargers, solar equipment, distribution panels, lighting, controls, and wiring. Build clean, protected, labeled, and serviceable electrical systems. Diagnose charging faults, voltage drop, parasitic draws, and failed components. Install and service freshwater pumps, tanks, valves, fixtures, and plumbing. Install and service air and hydronic heating systems, including Rixen-style equipment. Test completed systems and document configurations and repairs. Support teammates with troubleshooting and technical guidance. Qualifications Experience with automotive, RV, marine, mobile, or renewable-energy electrical systems. Strong understanding of 12-volt DC circuits, conductor sizing, and circuit protection. Confidence using multimeters, clamp meters, crimping equipment, and diagnostic tools. Working knowledge of plumbing, pumps, fluid loops, and heating systems. Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot methodically. Strong attention to safety, routing, sealing, labeling, and serviceability. Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Pay:
$27.00 - $45.00 per hour
