Job Description About the Opportunity As a Turbine Specialist, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our electrical turbines. Your role involves optimizing performance, maintaining system integrity, troubleshooting issues, and implementing maintenance procedures. You will also assist in training new hires and may travel to customer sites to ensure optimal equipment performance and provide support. Essential Functions Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of turbines to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in turbine systems. Oversee and assist in the installation of new turbines and related equipment. Monitor turbine performance using diagnostic tools and software to identify inefficiencies or potential problems. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and performance metrics. Ensure that all turbine operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines. Provide technical support and expertise to other engineering and operational staff. Implement upgrades and modifications to improve turbine efficiency and reliability. Train and mentor junior technicians and other staff members on turbine operation and maintenance procedures. Follow and enforce strict safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Experience/Education High School Diploma or GED 1-2+ year of gas turbine controls/instrumentation/electrical experience required Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status Skills and Qualifications Exceptional communicator
