We are seeking an experienced Restoration & Mitigation Crew Chief to lead mitigation crews, oversee emergency restoration projects, and ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Lead restoration technicians on residential and commercial mitigation projects. Respond to emergency losses involving water, fire, smoke, mold, and storm damage. Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, mold remediation, contents handling, and fire cleanup. Set up, monitor, and document drying equipment using moisture meters and industry-approved drying practices. Complete accurate job documentation, including photos, moisture logs, equipment tracking, and daily progress notes using ServiceMaster software. Communicate professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, project managers, and office staff. Ensure work is completed according to IICRC standards and ServiceMaster Restore operating procedures. Train, coach, and mentor restoration technicians while promoting a positive team culture. Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and inventory. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency response. Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of restoration or mitigation experience required. Previous Crew Chief or team leadership experience preferred.
IICRC WRT
certification strongly preferred; ASD, AMRT, FSRT, and OCT certifications are a plus. Experience with moisture mapping and structural drying principles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work. Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions. Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
