Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients in commercial laundry facilities. You will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanics, with preferred experience with washers, dryers, ironers, folders, ETC and programmable logic controllers. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in manufacturing facilities. Troubleshoot issues related to mechenical, electrical, hydraulics, and programmable logic controllers. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules. Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose electrical and mechanical problems. Execute welding tasks including stick welding as needed for repairs. Operate scissor lifts safely while performing field service tasks. Provide technical sales support by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions. Deliver excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients regarding service issues and solutions. Collaborate with team members to analyze problems and develop effective strategies for resolution. Experience Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or technician in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance. Familiarity with electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications. Prior experience working with laundry equipment systems is highly desirable. Background in field service roles is preferred, along with customer service skills. Military experience related to technical fields is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
