Experienced Forklift & Aerial Lift Field Service Technician Pay:

$30.00 - $45.00 per hour (Based on Verified Experience)

Hi-Lo Industrial Trucks is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician with at least three (3) years of recent, hands-on experience repairing forklifts and/or aerial lifts in the material handling industry. We are looking for a technician who can independently diagnose and repair equipment with minimal supervision. General automotive, diesel truck, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, industrial maintenance, or construction equipment experience by itself does not meet the qualifications for this position unless it included regular repair of forklifts and/or aerial lifts. Responsibilities As a Field Service Technician, you will: Travel to customer locations throughout Southeast Michigan in a company service vehicle. Diagnose and repair forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, and other material handling equipment. Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, engine, steering, braking, and drive system problems. Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections. Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics. Complete service reports accurately and professionally. Represent Hi-Lo Industrial Trucks professionally while working at customer locations. Work independently while maintaining communication with our service department.

Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have:

Minimum 3 years of recent, full-time, hands-on experience repairing forklifts and/or aerial lifts. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.

Experience repairing:

LPG (Propane) Gasoline Diesel Electric equipment Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical repairs. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good communication and customer service skills. Valid Michigan Driver's License with a clean driving record. Personal hand tools (standard and metric). Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
