They will also be responsible for the scheduling, maintenance and execution of lab furnace runs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Field Service Manager Works with project team on timeframe of build, specifically FSE time to learn furnace. Communicates with production manager to schedule appropriate personnel for field service. Meets with build teams to fully understand furnaces being built. Meets with customer during FAT (onsite at MRF). Books travel arrangements (flight, hotel, rental car, etc.) Communicates with field service engineer while they are in the field. Addresses all issues as priority (when possible) Works with sales and parts & service department on time frame and cost for install, SAT, training, diagnostics, repairs, etc. Communicates with customer for on-site requirements before MRF arrives for install, SAT, training, diagnostics, repairs, etc. Communicates to customer the expectations for MRF and the customer Determines requirements to gain access for on-site visits for training, badge access safety requirements, PPE, etc. Tracks facility readiness forms Fields all customer inquiries, concerns and issues with pre-existing equipment. Meets with the appropriate personnel to address inquiries, concerns and issues. Works with parts and service departments on quoting parts and field services when needed. Lab Manager Review toll work request (TWR) forms and provide feedback on scheduling, feasibility, availability and confirms booking. Schedules lab coverage and assigns lab technicians Communicates with production manager to schedule appropriate personnel to travel when needed. Closes the TWR and provides the run data to the TWR requesting party. Adds lab furnace scheduled runs to the customer care calendar. Tracks facility and utility needs and requirements; i.e. process gas, electrical power, PCW, etc. Enters the appropriate recipe into the lab furnace for runs. Reviews the recipe if the lab technician has entered the data. Arrange for visiting customer needs for on-site visits Creates process, procedures, SOPs and documentation. Schedules preventative maintenance and repairs for lab furnace. Tracks costs of preventative maintenance and repairs for lab furnace Project Supervisor Leads production floor furnace builds Mechanical (chamber, hot zone, water, gas, exhaust, vacuum, etc.) Works with electrical and software Assists and leads non-power and power on testing and addresses issues as the appear. Records issues and redlines (updates OneNote). Leads teardown, packing and crating.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related field. Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Eagerness to learn and grow in the mechanical design field. Skills and Abilities Knowledge of high temperature-controlled atmosphere furnace technology is a strong plus. Familiarity with engineering analysis software (e.g., FEA, CFD). Familiarity with industry standards and codes (ASME, ANSI, ISO). The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. Busy manufacturing environment at times, which may require personal protective equipment.
