Field Service Technician Employment Type:
Full-time Role Summary We are seeking a Field Service Technician II on behalf of our client to provide technical support and service for HVAC, fire alarm, and access control systems. Operating out of a local customer facility in Albany, NY, you will report directly to the Service Manager and utilize low-voltage troubleshooting skills to maintain, repair, and optimize critical building control systems. Key Responsibilities
    System Maintenance:
    Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, fire alarm, and access control systems.
      Diagnostics:
      Apply low-voltage electrical and basic control knowledge to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently.
        Service Delivery:
        Collaborate with team members and facility personnel to ensure timely, high-quality service.
          Safety & Compliance:
          Adhere strictly to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements during all field activities. Qualifications
            Experience or Education:
            1+ years of field service experience focused on HVAC, fire alarm, or access control systems OR a Technical Diploma / Degree in a related field.
              Technical Knowledge:
              Working knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and basic control systems operation.
                Skills:
                Demonstrated troubleshooting ability and capability to follow technical instructions independently.
                Preferred Qualifications:
                • Experience with building automation or advanced control systems.
                • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and customer service orientation. Compensation & Benefits
                Base Salary:
                $43,000 - $53,700 / year.
