Overview We are seeking a Low Voltage Technician Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency with hand tools for installations and repairs, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Helper position will start out assisting our Senior Technicians in the field and will progress to an independent Field Technician role capable of servicing jobsites on their own. Travel is required. Jobsites are located throughout OH, IN, and KY with occassional travel to other neighboring states. This is an entry level position to start with large growth potential for the right candidate. Responsibilities Field service support to Senior Technicians on jobsites to install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including drive-thru audio and timer systems, surveillance systems, and data/communication networks. Learn from Senior Technicians how to troubleshoot and resolve issues in equipment performance at customer job sites. Use diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter to assess system functionality and identify faults. Document all service activities accurately in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery. Daily travel up to 150 miles one-way is required. Occassional longer distance travel and/or overnight travel may be necessary. Experience - any experience listed below is helpful, but not required as we are willing to train the right candidate from the ground up: Experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the low voltage sector. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools. Familiarity with computer hardware and networking concepts A proactive approach to problem-solving with the capacity to identify, analyze, and resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.

Ability to show up to work as scheduled with a positive attitude is required. Attendance is critical to success - being consistently present, punctual, and reliable is required. Must be able to build positive customer relationships and resolve issues with the ability to maintain professionalism and build rapport to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Valid OH Driver's License with good driving record.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
