Weatherford, Oklahoma Job Overview Tautfest Home Design Center is looking for a dependable and mechanically skilled Service Technician to join our team in Weatherford, Oklahoma. This position focuses primarily on diagnosing, repairing, and servicing major household appliances. Previous appliance repair experience is preferred, but it is not required. We encourage candidates with experience in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical repair, maintenance, or other related service fields to apply. We are looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working independently, and providing excellent customer service. We provide paid manufacturer training to help the right person learn the products and skills needed to succeed. What We Offer Competitive pay of $20-$30+ per hour , depending on experience Monthly performance bonuses Company service vehicle Paid manufacturer training Paid vacation and holidays Monday-Friday schedule Stable, year-round employment Opportunity to build a long-term career with an established local company Responsibilities Diagnose and repair household appliances Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and appliance-related issues Perform service calls at customers' homes Accurately identify needed parts and repairs Communicate clearly and professionally with customers Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records Properly maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle Participate in manufacturer training and stay current on new products and repair procedures Work independently while communicating with our sales and service team Provide quality workmanship and excellent customer service on every call Qualifications Appliance repair experience is preferred, but not required Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical repair, maintenance, or a related field is strongly encouraged Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities Basic understanding of electrical systems and safe work practices Ability and willingness to learn appliance diagnostics and repair Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Professional communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to safely lift and move equipment as required Willingness to complete manufacturer-provided training
