Aqua Management Texas is a small water and wastewater operations company looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person who wants to build a career in the utility industry. You do not need to have every qualification or already hold a TCEQ license. We are looking for someone who shows up, works hard, solves problems, and wants to learn and take on more responsibility. What You'll Do This is a hands-on field position that may include: Water and wastewater system operations Water distribution and sewer repairs Lift station and pump maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting Preventive maintenance Utility construction and equipment installation Inspections and basic operational recordkeeping Emergency and occasional after-hours response You will work outdoors and should be comfortable with physical, hands-on work and getting dirty. Experience We're Looking For Experience in one or more of these areas is helpful: Water or wastewater utilities Public works or underground utilities Construction Pumps or lift stations Plumbing or mechanical repair Equipment operation Electrical/mechanical troubleshooting Industrial or field service A Texas water or wastewater operator license is a plus, but is not required for the right candidate. Training & Advancement Qualified employees may receive company support for TCEQ training and operator licensing . New employees begin with an approximately 90-day field training and evaluation period . As your skills, licensing, responsibility, and ability to work independently increase, opportunities for higher compensation and advancement increase as well.
