In this energetic role, you will respond swiftly to emergency calls, assess damage, and execute comprehensive restoration solutions. Your expertise will help clients recover from devastating events while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position offers on-call coverage, requiring flexibility and a proactive attitude to deliver exceptional service during critical moments. Duties Respond promptly to emergency water, flood, fire, and mold remediation calls, demonstrating emergency response readiness. Perform thorough assessments of water damage, including structural drying, moisture mapping, and mold remediation procedures. Operate a variety of power tools, hand tools, and restoration equipment such as Xactimate (estimating software), carpet cleaning machines, and other specialized devices. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection to ensure safety during all restoration activities. Conduct cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation to restore properties to pre-loss condition. Apply safety protocols diligently while operating company vehicles and handling hazardous materials. Document job progress with detailed reports using industry-standard software; communicate effectively with clients and team members throughout the process. Qualifications Prior experience in the restoration industry or construction is highly preferred; familiarity with flood restoration, water damage mitigation, and fire restoration is a plus. Demonstrated ability to adhere to safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection measures. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward assisting clients during stressful situations. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and company vehicles safely and efficiently. Knowledge of Xactimate or similar estimating software is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided. Flexibility for on-call coverage and responding to emergency situations outside regular hours. Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
