1099 Residential Maintenance Technician / Handyman We are a local builder and property maintenance company seeking an experienced 1099 Residential Maintenance Technician / Handyman to partner with our team. This is an independent contractor position ideal for someone who already operates as a handyman or maintenance professional and is looking for consistent work opportunities. We are looking for dependable and experienced contractors who take pride in quality workmanship and professionalism. Scope of Work General residential maintenance and repair services, including: Plumbing repairs Electrical repairs Drywall repairs Painting and touch-ups Door, lock, and hardware repairs Fixture installation and repairs Diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs efficiently and professionally Perform miscellaneous home repairs and light exterior/yard work as needed Provide clear communication and updates throughout jobs Submit photos and documentation of completed work Requirements Strong handyman or residential maintenance experience Must have own tools Experience with plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general carpentry Professional appearance and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Must provide proof of Certificate of Insurance (COI) Must provide proof of Workers' Compensation coverage Position Details 1099 Independent Contractor position Work is paid per completed work order/invoice Work orders will be assigned directly to the contractor Flexible scheduling Strong workflow available for the right fit Long-term opportunity for dependable and quality contractors
