Job Description
Heavy Equipment Field Technician — Near Yorba Linda, CA $38 to $65 per hour | Full Time A well established, family owned heavy equipment dealership serving Southern California is hiring an experienced Field Technician near Yorba Linda. This is a company built on small business values with big company pay and benefits, and they are busy right now, which means steady overtime for the right person. What you'll be doing: Servicing customer equipment both in the shop and out in the field at customer jobsites. You'll plan your own work, complete route maintenance without supervision, and get jobs done at or under manufacturer flat rate times. Day to day work includes routine maintenance, minor repairs, welding, and removal and replacement of major components like engines, axles, and transmissions, along with work on attachments such as hammers and shears. What you'll need: At least 3 years of experience maintaining and servicing heavy equipment, ideally with an equipment dealership background. Comfort with hydraulic and electrical systems, solid welding experience, and mid level diagnostic ability. A clean Class B driver's license with a recent K4 printout is required. Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted, strong attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple jobs at once.
