Heishman Ag LLC is a family owned and operated trucking company looking to hire a full time shop mechanic to maintain our newer model fleet of trucks. In addition, we operate a farming operation, so this position includes maintenance and repairs on the farm equipment. The right candidate will be self motivated with a farm background or mechanical experience. We are located 9 miles south of Tama, IA right on Hwy 63.

Job Description:

Responsible for general maintenance on trucks, trailers, and farm equipment including service and tire repair/changes Ability to diagnose and perform repairs on trucks, trailers, and equipment Responsible for ordering parts & shop supplies as needed Ensuring DOT inspections are current Respond to breakdowns with our service truck as needed Full time position

Qualifications:

Mechanical knowledge and experience repairing trucks, trailers, and farm equipment including tractors & implements Class-A CDL preferred but not required Welding experience is beneficial Own tools not required
