Job Description

Bayside Kubota, in Faulkner, MD has an immediate opening for a Service Technician. We are growing, and as a result of that expansion we are looking for dedicated individuals ready to join our team. If you have ever pictured yourself working on the leading Kubota tractor brand across both agricultural and construction equipment, look no further. We are looking for technicians who can work on everything from heavy-duty repairs to maintenance and repair on lawn equipment. Pay range will vary based on experience. Why Choose Bayside? If selected, you will receive: Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefit plans 401(k) with employer match Paid time off (PTO) Essential Functions Diagnose, repair, recondition, service, and assemble equipment as assigned by the Shop Foreman. Repair equipment including, but not limited to, tractors of all sizes, small engines, lawn mowers, allterrain vehicles, and construction and farm equipment. Disassemble and inspect equipment promptly so that parts may be ordered and machine work quoted and scheduled without delay. Recommend any additional necessary repairs to the Service Manager and the customer. Fabricate and weld metal parts together when necessary. Make service calls as assigned by the Service Manager. Maintain accurate and legible records of work performed. Pay special attention to repeat repairs and comebacks in order to correct the underlying problem and avoid unnecessary dealership expense. Keep shop equipment clean and properly serviced, and report any problems to the Service Manager. Report work shortages and malfunctions of shop equipment to the Service Manager. Stay current with technical changes and participate in continuing education through factory service schools. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Experience servicing agricultural, construction, or outdoor power equipment, ranging from heavyduty repair to lawn equipment maintenance. Must own the appropriate level of tools required for most service work. Bayside provides all major shop equipment and specialty tools. Welding and fabrication skills preferred. Kubota factory certification preferred but not required. A selfmotivated individual with strong attention to detail. A resultsoriented individual who enjoys working in a fastpaced environment. A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee works near moving mechanical parts and equipment and in high or precarious places, and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Lifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment are used to move anything heavier. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Work hours and days must be flexible and will include some evening and weekend hours. Location This position is located in Faulkner, MD.
