DAY SHIFT HEAVY / ROADSERVICE MECHANIC ALLIED CONSTRUCTION

- Clarkston, MI 48346 We are currently looking for A Day shift Heavy Mobile Mechanic to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our tractors, dump trailers, Crushing Plants, Screening Plants, Paving Equipment, Excavating Equipment, and other various pieces of heavy equipment . This is a full-time year round position with overtime. Position comes with a service truck •

MONDAY - FRIDAY

SATURDAY AS NEEDED

ON CALL EVERYOTHER WEEKEND DURRING PAVING SEASON

HOURS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITH WORK LOAD

Required Experience:

Diagnose and repair trucks and equipment in both the shop and in the field. Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of trucks, trailers and heavy equipment Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, techniques used in Truck/Tractor repair and maintenance Diagnosing mechanical problems and performing repairs. All other duties as assigned. Knowledge of electrical systems including computerized induction/ignition systems. CDL License would be a plus. Must be able to lift 60 plus pounds. Must have own tools. Follow written and verbal instructions. Establish and maintain effective working relationships. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing. At least 4 years of experience working in the trucking industry. At least 4 years of experience with heavy equipment in the paving industry. At least 4 years of experience with heavy equipment in the recycled aggregate industry
