Job Description
Entry-Level Mechanic Position Overview Bob's Tractor, LLC is looking for a dependable and motivated Entry-Level Mechanic to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with general automotive/mechanical knowledge who is looking to gain hands-on experience working on a variety of trucks, tractors, trailers, and equipment. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn, work safely, take direction, and assist with a variety of mechanical and general shop duties. Job Duties Duties may include, but are not limited to: Perform basic engine services and maintenance Power wash equipment, trucks, and components Remove and install hydraulic cylinders Assist with hydraulic repairs and maintenance Assist with suspension and driveline repairs Mount and dismount tires Assist experienced mechanics with repairs and troubleshooting Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized Perform general garage and shop duties as assigned Follow all company safety policies and procedures Personal tools are welcome but are not required Qualifications Basic automotive/mechanical knowledge required Willingness to learn and develop mechanical skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed Reliable and dependable attendance Ability to work safely in a shop environment Ability to lift, move, and handle tools and equipment as required Previous experience with hydraulics or hydraulic rebuilding is a plus Previous experience with heavy equipment, tractors, trucks, or trailers is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, willing to learn, and takes pride in their work.
