About the Role As an Independent Field Service Technician and Delivery Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end process of delivering, assembling, and repairing high-value consumer goods. By leveraging your technical expertise and logistical skills, you will ensure customers receive professional, high-quality service while maintaining the flexibility to choose the projects that best fit your schedule and capabilities. Responsibilities Execute precise assembly of fitness equipment, basketball systems, and outdoor structures according to manufacturer specifications. Perform on-site repairs and maintenance for residential products, ensuring optimal functionality and safety. Coordinate the delivery and installation of home goods, providing a seamless experience from transit to final setup. Utilize mobile technology platforms to manage work orders, document service completion, and communicate status updates in real-time. Maintain high standards of workmanship to drive customer satisfaction and project success. Operate and maintain necessary transport vehicles and professional-grade toolkits to ensure efficient service delivery. Qualifications Required Skills Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record. Proven ability to interpret technical manuals and assemble complex mechanical products. Proficiency with mobile applications and digital dispatch systems. Possession of a valid EIN and ability to meet insurance and regulatory compliance standards. Physical capability to handle, lift, and maneuver heavy equipment safely. Preferred Skills Prior experience in logistics, furniture installation, or mechanical repair. Ownership of reliable cargo vans, sprinter vans, or box trucks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail during complex installations. Experience working in a customer-facing, independent contractor capacity.
