Job Description

The Sitework Operator responsibilities include assisting in facilitating site preparation, excavation, grading, and other related tasks. This role requires a skilled individual with experience in operating various types of machinery, running their own project site(s), and assisting in other site work operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Load, secure and transport equipment and materials to job sites. Ability to operate heavy machinery; ability to load and unload the equipment and materials independently. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure proper functionality and identify any potential equipment issues. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations on project sites to prevent accidents and injuries. Collaborate with sitework team members including supervisors and project managers to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow. Maintain accurate records of work performed, hours worked, equipment usage, materials used, and any incidents or accidents. Assist with other sitework-related tasks as needed, including manual labor and general site cleanup. Flexibility to work overtime hours as required to complete job assignments. Inspect clean and maintain department equipment. Ability to read blue prints Seasonally operate a plow truck, loader during winter season.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years experience operating equipment Strong knowledge of transport safety, DOT regulations and procedures Ability to operate various types of heavy machinery safely and efficiently Ability to perform manual labor in outdoor environments Strong communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Ability to operate heavy machinery for long periods, including sitting for extended periods.
Pay:
$27.00 - $35.00 per hour
