Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Rental Home Rehab Technician / Contractor to lead renovation and repair projects for rental properties. This role involves transforming distressed or outdated homes into attractive, functional residences ready for new tenants. The ideal candidate will have experience in home repairs, remodeling, and property rehab, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within a dynamic real estate investment and property management company. Duties Perform comprehensive repairs and renovations on rental properties, including drywall, flooring, painting, plumbing, and electrical work Assess property conditions and develop detailed rehab plans to meet project specifications Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to safety standards and building codes Maintain a clean and organized work environment during all phases of renovation Communicate progress updates and any issues to project managers or property owners Conduct final inspections to ensure quality standards are met before property turnover Requirements Proven experience in home renovation, remodeling, or construction work, preferably within rental property rehabs or real estate investment projects Strong knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, flooring installation, painting, and general maintenance skills Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for travel between properties Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces Reliable transportation to access multiple job sites daily References are required This role is essential for maintaining the quality and profitability of our rental portfolio by ensuring properties are rehabbed efficiently and up to standard.
