Heavy Duty Mechanic

Job Description:

We are looking for an Experienced Truck Mechanic who can perform maintenance and repair services on medium duty commercial equipment such as medium commercial trucks, trailers, 550's/5500's and Emergency response vehicles.

What you will be doing:

Work on a wide range of vehicles, from personal and commercial vehicles including but not limited to Ford, Freightliner, Diesel and Gas models. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on commercial vehicles; then initiate necessary repairs. Perform mechanical services such as fluid and filter exchanges, brake work, steering and suspension repairs, and Truck/Trailer alignments. Conduct Federal DOT inspections, safety inspections, preventative maintenance inspections to keep vehicles road-ready and safe. Maintain and repair our fleet of tire service and support vehicles.

Schedule:

Day shift, Monday through

Friday Minimum Qualifications:

Own a set of basic tools needed for the job. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Acceptable pre-employment drug screening Current ASE's and/or willingness to obtain them Be willing to work on all types of vehicles

• while most will be commercial, we service them all.

Desired Qualifications:

Safety conscious, respectful, honest, strong work ethic, and enjoys being part of a team Welding CDL (not required but preferred) ASE's and/or industry related certifications.

Pay Range:

$32

• $48 an hour total compensation ($26
• $30/hour base + Industry leading Commission Program + Overtime)
