IC Test Technician -
RF/Microwave Manufacturing Position Overview:
Join our team and play a key role in the testing and production of integrated circuits (ICs) at the wafer stage. This position supports both production and prototype circuits within a high-variety manufacturing environment focused on advanced RF/microwave technologies. Located in Santa Rosa, California, this role offers the opportunity to work with sophisticated automated test systems while developing your technical expertise in electronics, RF testing, manufacturing, and troubleshooting. You will perform DC and RF testing, operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and work closely with engineers and other technical teams to resolve product and process challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform DC and RF testing of integrated circuits using automated test systems and specialized test equipment. Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing and test equipment. Conduct product tests, experiments, measurements, and technical evaluations. Troubleshoot issues involving components, parts, products, equipment, and manufacturing processes. Provide technical support for electronic and mechanical operations. Assist engineers with product and process investigations and problem resolution. Analyze test results and use sound technical judgment to identify and resolve issues. Handle and test integrated circuit wafers in a controlled cleanroom environment. Follow established manufacturing, testing, safety, and quality procedures. Maintain accurate test and production records. Work effectively in a high-variety manufacturing environment with changing priorities. Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and other technical departments. Required & Preferred Qualifications Associate degree (AS) or certificate in Electronics Technology preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred. Technical experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or related areas preferred. Experience working with integrated circuit wafers, including fabrication processes or wafer handling, preferred. Experience using a microscope. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, including wearing required gowning and hood. Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills. Strong organizational and logistical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, cross-functional environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated interest in rapid skill development and progressively increasing responsibility. Experience with electronic test equipment preferred, including: Network analyzers Signal generators Oscilloscopes Spectrum analyzers Power supplies Power meters
Pay Transparency:
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $23.99/hour - $31.99/hour W-2.
