Job Overview Serenity Appliance Repair is looking for an experienced Home Appliance Repair Technician to join as an independent contractor (1099) . This is not a W2 position — you set your own schedule, use your own tools and vehicle, and get paid per completed job, not by the hour. We provide a steady stream of dispatched service calls in the Tampa Bay area; you handle the diagnosis and repair. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential appliances: refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, and similar equipment Use your own tools, testing equipment, and vehicle to travel between job sites Communicate professionally with customers and provide accurate diagnoses Complete jobs and documentation through our dispatch system (Workiz) Manage your own schedule within general weekly availability windows Requirements Proven experience repairing major home appliances Own reliable vehicle and complete set of hand/diagnostic tools Valid driver's license and insurance Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Available to accept and complete dispatched jobs Monday-Saturday (schedule set by you) EPA Section 608 Certification required (for refrigerant handling) Experience replacing compressors on R134 and R600 refrigerant systems Compensation Paid per completed job / commission-based — not hourly Independent contractor (1099); you are responsible for your own taxes and insurance Opportunity for consistent, steady job volume

Pay:

$26.13 - $31.46 per hour
