As an Appliance Technician, you will troubleshoot complex equipment issues, perform installations, and provide expert guidance to clients, all while working with a variety of tools and technical systems. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will drive success in this vital position. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair a variety of household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers using detailed schematics and technical manuals Install new appliances ensuring proper electrical, plumbing, and mechanical connections according to safety standards and manufacturer specifications Troubleshoot equipment issues utilizing ladder use, electrical experience, refrigeration knowledge, and mechanical skills to identify root causes efficiently Perform routine maintenance and inspections on appliances to ensure optimal performance and longevity Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble, disassemble, repair, or replace appliance components accurately Operate company vehicles safely for field service appointments while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction with every interaction Requirements Proven experience in appliance repair or related field service roles with strong troubleshooting skills Knowledge of schematics, electrical work, plumbing systems, refrigeration principles, and mechanical systems Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ladder use, and equipment assembly techniques Ability to read technical manuals and interpret wiring diagrams accurately Experience operating company vehicles safely and maintaining a clean driving record Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional communication style Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices for appliances and related equipment Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service appointments efficiently Physical capability to lift heavy appliances safely and perform manual tasks requiring bending or standing for extended periods Join us as an Appliance Technician where your technical expertise fuels our mission to deliver top-tier appliance solutions.
