Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Appliance Install and Delivery Technician, where you will be the vital link between our products and our customers' homes. Your expertise will ensure appliances are delivered safely, installed correctly, and functioning optimally. You'll operate company vehicles, troubleshoot equipment issues, and execute installations with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely deliver appliances to customer locations, ensuring timely and damage-free transportation. Install a variety of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and more, following manufacturer specifications and schematics. Conduct thorough equipment troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve installation or operational issues on-site. Utilize hand tools, power tools, electrical work, plumbing skills, and mechanical knowledge to complete installations efficiently. Interpret schematics and use ladder systems safely to access installation sites or perform repairs at various heights. Perform routine maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on appliances to ensure optimal performance. Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to safety protocols; maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during each visit. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair and installation processes. Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other field service equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical work, plumbing connections, and assembly techniques. Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and accurately to minimize downtime. Experience working with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) procedures in a field service environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Familiarity with company vehicle operation along with adherence to safety standards on the road and at job sites. Must be able to work Saturdays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more consistently.
