Job Description

Duties Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes quickly and accurately Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, and occasional HVAC systems using hand tools and power tools Install new appliances by following detailed installation procedures, including electrical work, plumbing connections, and mechanical assembly Utilize ladder use and equipment troubleshooting skills to access hard-to-reach areas and resolve complex mechanical or electrical problems Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent future breakdowns and ensure optimal appliance performance Operate company vehicles such as box trucks safely for delivery, pickup, or service calls while adhering to all safety protocols Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction during every interaction Requirements Proven experience in appliance repair, field service, or as a service technician with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems Knowledge of schematics, ladder diagrams, refrigeration principles, HVAC systems, plumbing connections, and electrical work Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment for repairs and installations Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices to ensure equipment longevity and safety standards are met Ability to operate company vehicles such as box trucks or delivery vans responsibly and safely Strong troubleshooting skills for equipment repair across diverse appliance types Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities Experience with electrical experience or HVAC systems is highly desirable Valid driver's license with delivery driver experience preferred; must meet all safety requirements for vehicle operation Must be able to pass background check.
