In person Job Overview Appliance Repair Pro is seeking a dependable, skilled, and customer-focused Appliance Installation Technician to install and set up residential appliances. This role ensures appliances are installed correctly and safely, performs basic testing, explains operation to customers, and maintains professional service standards. Key Responsibilities Install and set up residential appliances according to manufacturer instructions. Install appliances such as refrigerators, ranges, ovens, dishwashers, washers, and dryers. Inspect installation areas and confirm proper placement before installation. Connect approved electrical, water, drainage, and ventilation components as applicable. Level, secure, and test appliances to ensure proper operation. Use hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely. Identify installation issues and communicate concerns to customers or supervisors. Explain basic appliance operation, care, and safety procedures to customers. Complete installation paperwork and service documentation accurately. Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and installation supplies. Protect customer property and maintain a clean work area during and after installation. Follow company procedures, manufacturer requirements, and workplace safety standards. Provide courteous and professional customer service at each service location. Qualifications Previous appliance installation, repair, maintenance, construction, or technical experience preferred. Basic understanding of appliance installation and household connections. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow manufacturer instructions and safety procedures. Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented. Ability to lift, move, and position household appliances safely. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service appointments. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
