Responsibilities Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes efficiently. Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Install new appliances accurately following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent future malfunctions and extend appliance lifespan. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience. Operate company vehicles safely for transportation to customer locations and ensure proper documentation of service visits. Utilize ladder use, plumbing knowledge, electrical experience, and mechanical skills to complete complex repairs effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in appliance repair or related field service roles with a strong understanding of electrical work, refrigeration systems, plumbing, and mechanical components. Ability to read schematics, use ladder diagrams, and troubleshoot equipment systematically. Familiarity with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) practices and field service operations. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, electrical testing devices, and assembly techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely. Knowledge of appliance installation procedures and experience with delivery driver responsibilities is a plus.
