chimneycharminc@gmail.com This role is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, repair and installation of residential and commercial fire-burning and electric appliances such as, but not limited to, fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and grill systems. The technician is friendly, helpful, professional and committed to working safely.
Provides excellent customer service while educating customers on safe appliance usage.
Learns and becomes the subject matter expert on all products and services and knows how to Communicate, Communicate, Communicate .
Technician Duties:
Preventative Maintenance:
Residential and Commercial maintenance services as scheduled by the company.
Clean, evaluate and perform system inspections, leak checks and safety tests to meet and/or exceed manufacturer specifications as outlined on the company task lists.
Diagnose and repair equipment issues to meet and/or exceed manufacturer specifications and as outlined by the company.
Produce and maintain accurate onsite service reports and other supporting documentation for the distribution to the customer via hardcopy or electronic format.
Maintain and perform office duties such as paperwork, customer service activities, and inventory.
Keep tools clean and in proper working condition.
Maintain and perform cleaning of company vehicle.
Maintain a professional appearance
Installation Duties:
New and Replacement Equipment Installations :
Remove and dispose of old appliances when applicable.
Install Equipment to manufacture specifications and/or as specified by other authorities and industry best practices.
Assemble and install ancillary features.
Assemble and install required utilities such as fuel lines and basic electrical hookups.
Assemble and install venting.
Cooperate and support other sub-contractors and/or trades in the professional completion of the project to meet the customers expectation.
Maintain and present yourself as a professional with clean and orderly appearance and work space.
Leave the customer with a very clean and professional final product.
Showroom Duties :
During the busy season and as needed the Technician will be asked to assist with duties in the showroom. These hours will include Saturdays during the fall and winter months and will provide the technician with an opportunity to earn additional income.
Duties include:

Learn and become a subject matter expert on all products and services.
Help select products for the client when appropriate.

Qualifications:
Mechanically inclined and detailed oriented.

A professional with a positive attitude.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Competitive Pay:
$50,000 - $60,000.
00 per year plus bonus opportunities based on experience.
