Job Summary:

The Appliance Repair Technician will focus on the highest level of customer satisfaction. He/she will diagnose the defective appliance, effectively communicate with the customer, and make the repairs in a safe, professional, and timely manner. He/she will travel to customers' homes and/or businesses, diagnose, and repair various appliances that will range from refrigerators, freezers, ranges, microwaves, dishwashers, ice machines, washers, dryers, and other home appliances. The primary service area will be in and around Georgetown, SC.

Duties:

Safely operates company truck Timely, safely and accurately diagnoses, communicates, and repairs appliances at customers' home and/or business Provides excellent customer service to builders, homeowners, and business representatives Works in a safe manner at all times Works as a team to accomplish the repair successfully Understands and executes thorough problem-solving methodologies Uses basic mechanical and electrical tools to repair appliances Performers other related duties as assigned Skills H.S. Diploma or equivalent At least one year of appliance repair experience (strongly preferred) Must possess valid S.C. driver's license with good driving record Must possess mechanical knowledge (prefer a min. of 2 years' exp.) Excellent communication and customer service skills Excellent interpersonal skills - must be a team player Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Ability to follow complex repair instructions as per manufacturer specifications Experience with repairing hardwired and built-in appliances is a plus Must have a professional, groomed appearance Must be at least 21 years of age

This position requires the ability to work independently in the field, provide timely repairs, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
