Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dependable Appliance Delivery Driver & Helper to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely delivering appliances to customers' homes and assisting with the installation, setup, and troubleshooting of various appliances. Duties Safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks, during delivery routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Load, unload, and deliver appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other large household items. Assist with the installation and setup of appliances, including connecting electrical, plumbing, and ventilation components as needed. Troubleshoot basic appliance issues using schematics, ladder use, hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to identify problems. Perform minor repairs or adjustments on appliances in the field to ensure proper operation before customer handoff. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon delivery. Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and safety documentation throughout each shift. Experience Prior experience operating delivery vehicles such as box trucks or similar company vehicles is preferred. Proven field service or service technician experience involving appliance repair or installation is highly desirable. Knowledge of electrical work, plumbing connections, HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, and equipment troubleshooting is a strong plus. Familiarity with schematics, ladder use, electrical experience, mechanical knowledge, and the use of hand tools and power tools is essential. Experience in maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), appliance installation or repair enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
