Appliance Technician Overview:

Webster Furniture & Appliance is looking for an experienced appliance repair technician to join our team on a part time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in appliance repair, and installation along with technical knowledge and certifications required to safely service refrigeration equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform basic repairs on appliances. Minimum of 2 years hands on appliance repair experience Install new appliances (Refrigerator, dishwasher, range, etc.). Experience repairing household appliances including refrigerators, air conditioners, ranges, hot water heaters etc. Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and refrigeration systems

REQUIRED

Certifications or licenses for working with refrigeration systems, including EPA Section 608 certification . Ability to troubleshoot problems accurately and complete repairs efficiently. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST

Willingness to learn different skills and techniques to effectively fulfill the tasks at hand. Adhere to all safety protocols. Maintain excellent customer service (e.g. when serving customers). Participate in training sessions, monthly and yearly, to improve skills and grow as an individual and a technician. Must be able to lift and/or carry 75+ pounds. Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and dependable attendance. This position is currently 2-3 days per week, Wednesday, Thursday and possibly Friday.

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 24.0 per week
