Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Residential HVAC Service Technician / Installer to join our energetic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential settings. Duties Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment, following detailed schematics and HVAC design plans Perform routine maintenance on existing HVAC systems to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency Troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC system issues using electrical diagnostics, refrigeration knowledge, and mechanical systems repair techniques Conduct equipment troubleshooting utilizing hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic devices to identify faults accurately Diagnose electrical system problems and perform electrical diagnostics to resolve issues related to building automation systems and electrical components Collaborate with customers to explain system operations, maintenance procedures, and recommended repairs to ensure satisfaction and understanding Maintain accurate service records, complete detailed reports on repairs performed, and document system conditions for future reference Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or installer in residential HVAC systems with a strong understanding of HVAC/R (refrigeration) principles Construction experience or background is highly desirable for seamless installation processes Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, and mechanical knowledge necessary for complex system troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret building automation systems, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals Familiarity with HVAC system repair, maintenance procedures, and equipment troubleshooting techniques Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC or electrical systems are a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Experience with HVAC system installation, repair of air conditioning units, boilers, ventilation systems, and mechanical systems repair required Proficiency with hand tools, electrical diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical repair equipment is essential Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a company van safely throughout the workday Join our team to deliver top-tier residential HVAC solutions that enhance comfort while advancing your career! $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
