Overview The Commercial HVAC Technician will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial facilities, including high-rise condominiums, schools, and large campuses. You will be expected to execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs, perform retrofits and changeouts, and ensure equipment is operating at peak efficiency. This is a hands-on, field-based role that requires strong technical ability, excellent documentation skills, and professional interaction with customers and team members. Responsibilities
  • Service and maintain a wide range of HVAC equipment including:
  • Cooling Towers
  • Chillers
  • Water Source Heat Pumps (WSHP)
  • Split Systems and Mini Splits
  • Water Pumps and Boilers
  • Rooftop Units (RTU)
  • Perform all service types:
  • Preventive Maintenance (PM)
  • Retrofits and Changeouts
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics
  • New Installations
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans/drawings for accurate execution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and clear updates.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in the company CRM for all service requests and completed work orders.
  • Work collaboratively with ABC Mechanical leadership, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure proper van stock inventory management and maintain an organized and clean service vehicle.
  • Comply with all safety regulations, company SOPs, and industry best practices.
  • Mentor and assist junior team members when required.
  • Follow federal and state laws, as well as established company policies.
