Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of maintaining comfortable, safe, and efficient building environments. In this energetic role, you will troubleshoot, repair, install, and service a wide range of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems using schematics, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting tools. Install new HVAC equipment and mechanical systems in accordance with design specifications and safety standards. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal operation and energy efficiency. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults in electrical systems and components. Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to repair or replace defective parts, ensuring all work meets industry codes and safety regulations. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans for system installation or repair projects. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system issues clearly and recommending appropriate solutions while maintaining professional communication throughout service calls. Requirements Proven experience in construction or HVAC service technician roles with a strong background in system repair and installation. Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics, building automation systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical systems repair. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair procedures. Familiarity with refrigeration systems, boilers, appliances repair, air conditioning units, and related mechanical components. Ability to operate hand tools efficiently and safely; experience with electrical diagnostics using devices such as ohmmeters is essential. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read technical schematics accurately for installation or troubleshooting tasks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving driver vehicles preferred. Certifications such as EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) refrigerant handling certification required; additional certifications in HVAC or electrical diagnostics are advantageous.
