Job Summary The HVAC Mechanic performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems at a Government military facility. Work is completed in accordance with manufacturer standards and Federal Government guidelines, with a strong focus on safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment (RTUs, AHUs, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, VAVs, heat pumps, split systems) Troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems, including controls and wiring diagrams Respond to service calls and emergency after-hours requests as needed Maintain service documentation, tools, and supply inventory Support building systems including EMS, fire alarm, sprinkler, and emergency generator systems Safely lift and move materials up to 75 lbs Follow all safety, security, and site requirements Requirements 5+ years HVAC experience NATE Certification (required) Universal CFC Certification (required) High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work Monday-Friday with occasional overtime and on-call emergencies Ability to pass drug screening and Federal Government background check U.S. Citizen or approved registered alien
